I love when little things all seem to come together. I'll fill you in on what i mean....
Obviously, it's Summertime so my style choices always derive from festival fashion; think bohemian/gypsy/hippy/rock&roll, you get the drift. Anyway, since my trip to New York, I've become obsessed with Free People. While browsing their stores in the Big Apple, i fell in love with their whole aesthetic and overall vibe that i wanted everything they had to offer. Unfortunately i didn't purchase anything and regretted it once i got back home. I know, i know, a big mistake that i would go back and change if i could!
However, while sorting through my wardrobe the other week, i found a little gem. My very own piece of Free People that i owned and didn't know that i had. Turns out i had bought this particular item from Urban Outfitters many years ago and it had gotten lost in my closet somehow. Needless to say this little find was a very welcome one! And if i hadn't gone to NY, i might never have found it.

Now, suddenly Free People is everywhere. By everywhere i mean all over my Instagram feed, as they held a press day in the UK! Seeing this, i immediately got excited and visited their UK website; another big mistake on my part because i wanted everything again! Luckily for me there's a sale and because i simply can't resist such allure, i happened to snap up a pair of boots for £59.95 that should have been £168!! An amazing deal, I can't wait for them to arrive!
So, my love of Free People is forever blossoming. What i thought i'd only see in NY has followed me home.... To show you what's had me so captivated, i thought i'd share some images that have been inspiring me and making me want ALL the clothes! (photographs from Google images & Free People)
On a completely different note, i just randomly got tickets for Saxon. Two of the original members are playing at Fort Perch Rock. It's a cool, unique venue in my home town. Located on the beach, it makes a picturesque setting for certain events, gigs included. I couldn't resist an 80's classic rock show on a Friday night, so i'll be happily going along next week, probably dressed in my new Free People boots...
